We’re excited to announce that registration is now open! No special link or password is needed—just head over to the registration page and get started.
Before you register, please be sure to review the important information below regarding volunteer requirements and payment options.
Parent Volunteer Requirements:
AMBA is a volunteer-driven organization, and we rely on parent involvement to help run a successful season. During registration, you’ll be asked if you'd like to volunteer. Here’s what you need to know:
- If you choose not to volunteer, a $250 opt-out fee per child will automatically apply.
- If you choose to volunteer, you’ll be able to select from a variety of age-appropriate roles for your child’s team

Credit Card Payments:
If you are paying your registration by credit card, a $0.01 placeholder fee will be charged during registration. If volunteer commitments are not fulfilled, a post-dated payment of $249.99 will be processed at the end of the season.
E-transfer, KidSport or JumpStart:
For e-transfer payments, please send the full registration fee to treasurer@airdriebasketball.ca within 24 hours of completing your registration. Registrations without payment after 24 hours may be automatically removed from the system.
If you are applying through KidSport or JumpStart, email your confirmation number to registration@airdriebasketball.ca within 24 hours of registering. Registrations without confirmation numbers after 24 hours may be automatically removed from the system.

Important: A $250 volunteer deposit per athlete is required for all registration types.
You can submit this deposit in one of the following ways:
Volunteer deposits must be received before or at your child’s evaluation in order for them to participate. Once your volunteer commitment is completed by the end of the season, your deposit (cheque or e-transfer) will be returned.
Please review available volunteer roles in advance on our Volunteer Info Page. Note that some roles may require approval from AMBA to ensure suitability.
Coaching Volunteers: Training & Requirements
If you plan to register as a head coach or assistant coach, please indicate this in the registration form.
Required for all coaches:
- Respect in Sport Training - This mandatory course prepares coaches to recognize and address abuse, neglect, harassment, and bullying in youth sports.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - A valid VSC (good for 2 years) is required for all coaches. To obtain a VSC letter, please email volunteer@airdriebasketball.ca. This letter must be presented to the Airdrie RCMP to complete your application.
We recommend completing the Respect in Sport training and starting your VSC process as early as possible to prevent delays at the start of the season.
