AMBA Youth Basketball Programs
At AMBA, we offer basketball programs for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking for more competitive league play, there's a division that's right for them.
AMBA House League (Airdrie Only)
Our House League programs are held entirely in Airdrie, with both practices and games (Mini House only) taking place locally—no travel outside of Airdrie is required. We partner with a variety of gyms in and around Airdrie to schedule practices. While we aim to give our youngest players the earlier time slots, we cannot guarantee specific start or end times.

AMBA U11-U18 Leagues (Travel Teams)
Our Travel Teams compete in the Calgary Minor Basketball Association (CMBA), a tiered league that spans Calgary and the surrounding area, providing appropriate competition for players of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
While AMBA teams practice in Airdrie anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, games are scheduled on Saturdays across the Calgary area. Please note that AMBA does not control game locations, as they are determined by CMBA.

2025-2026 Travel Teams Public Calendar
Alberta Basketball Membership
Starting in 2024/25 All AMBA Players and Referees are required to purchase an ABA Membership in addition to their AMBA Fees. This membership is collected directly during registration by the ABA. This fee covers insurance and your entrance fee should your team be selected for provincials.
